Eshwar Sundaresan loves a multi-dimensional life.
As an author, he has explored various genres like thrillers, political satire, historical fiction and investigative nonfiction. His short stories have won him many awards.
As a trainer, he conducts Life Skills workshops and writing workshops. He believes in meticulous research and customising each program to suit the unique needs of the audience. He especially loves interacting with young audiences, but with every audience, he creates enthusiasm for the ideas he articulates.
As a counsellor, he mainly addresses the emotional upheavals of adolescents, young adults and couples. A specialty he practises as a counsellor is Bibliotherapy – an expressive form of therapy that uses the written word to help people heal. He recently used Bibliotherapy to help people who were grieving the loss of their loved ones.
Since 2012, Eshwar has been ghostwriting books. Here, too, he has opted for diverse experience. So far, the eight books he has ghostwritten have covered domains such as wealth management, ayurveda, infrastructure development, law, scientific research, psychology and the armed forces. Some of them have been autobiographies, but most were concept-driven books.
Eshwar has been a member of the Asia Journalism Fellowship, which is offered to select journalists from across Asia and is conducted by the Temasek Foundation in Singapore.
Decades ago, Eshwar graduated as an engineer and spent six years as a hardcore techie serving Fortune-500 clients in North America.
